12:08 am - Blues4Kali- ExperiMental Existentialism for the End Times

What will Winter Solstice bring in 2012? ...an instant of Karma? ...an ethereal spiral dance of the collective soul? ... cosmic judgment leveled against civilization's expanse? ...destruction of the world as we know it? ...a chance for a new start? ...the rise and the revenge of the Goddess? or simply another day in the life of paranoia? These are the false prophesies that your pastor warned you about!
Reality Exchange Program
"Makes DMT seem like a whip-it."

Crazy Bear said there'd be days like this. As usual, no one believed him. Now, all I want to know is: where IS that lifeboat, and how DO I ditch this ship of fools, without any of these bliss ninnies noticing that I'm already gone?
Captain, my ass. We are equal in this sea of madness.
That iceberg is looking awfully big.

Amana Mission is on a quest to save the world, and the only problem is, she can't remember why she got involved with such an obvious scam in the first place. Jesus saves. Christ. What a loser.
Kali kills first, and recycles later.
Hitchhikers, load up for a ride to the Other Side. You may wish you had gone Greyhound.
"What the...?"
*A cranky band of prankster peace warriors who absolutely cannot resist messing with each other's minds, no matter the cost.
*Cocky alchemy-dabbling quantum surfers, navigating the Ethersphere with hand-held computers, switching timelines to find a better party vibe and swap tips about the best temporary toilets for use as interdimensional portals.
*A burnt-out visionary hippie millionaire on a mission from Gaia to build a better "communitopia" by underwriting a convoy carrying telepathic priestesses.
*A wheelchair-bound mindpilot propelling a crystal-powered Seed Bank toward the post-Apocalyptic Garden, with psychic precision...and a predilection for high-velocity extreme driving.
*Hermaphrodite time-jumper fleeing a fate worse than death.
*Anarchist ghettoes where anything goes-except escape.
*Ancient Principals vying like sweatsoaked carpetbaggers for our loyalty as the Final Vote is tallied.
*Long-haired security patrols collecting a cannabis tribute tax from all pilgrims to the Valley of Fun.
*And an underground meat mafia bringing a black magic revival to a bloodless dreamworld gone bland.
All brought together by a secret psychedelic superdrug that tunes users in to reality through the eyes of another archetypal avatar inhabiting a different state of space and time. Mahayana made easy. Budding Buddha natures are running amuck on a virtual superhighway where all roads lead to the Bo tree and singularity.
Twenty-first century Tantra is about more than sex, drugs, and rock and roll.Confronting the Karma of every wasted breath is only the first step.
Welcome to the End Times. Kali awaits. She already knows who you are.
Do you?
The 21st century counterculture is even weirder than it appears on the surface. This is not your mommy’s MTV Road Rules.
Ride along on this mesmerizing, metaphor-packed bus trip toward ecstasy and enlightenment, as three real-time guides-Amana, Sissy, and Deva, let you in on what they learned when they asked what It was really all about, after all.
Become them for a multilevel metafictional tour of infinity and awaken yourself to the miracle-a-minute magic of mighty Mother Kali!

9:29 pm - Shadows

Alright, this is chapter one. I've been working on rewriting it since I lost everything, there's some new things though the chapter's around 16 pages rather than 40. Between looking after my mum and looking for work, I'll try and get next two or three chapters out without too much of a wait...if there's any interest that is >.>; There's also a journal entry of sorts that goes before the chapter, but Aoi hasn't come up with a suitable one just yet.

4:24 pm - I really can't remember if I posted this here before, but this is a revision of the original anyway.

So like, my friend and I are turning this story into a film. The cast of which features someone rather special to me. >.>
Yep, so if this is a repost of something I've already posted. My appologies. This story was written over 3 years ago.

I really don't actually care if any of you give feedback, heh. :P

It's me (kokoro_kara), I just changed this community over to my creative journal.

The first chapter of 'Shadow' is about fourty pages long and I'd have to break it into too many pieces to post it in my creative journal. So, if anyone is interested in reading it, please leave a comment with your e-mail address so I can send it to you.

Another option would be to wait until I get my account at Elfwood up and running again. However a) they are not allowing new things to be put up at the moment and b) even when they do, it will take things a while to appear there. If anyone is interested in reading the story this way, I'll post my page there once it's set up.

Still, the fastest way would be for me to e-mail you the chapters as I write them.

The story takes place in a corrupt world where magic exists and is exploited. The story revolves around one particular magical creature, wanted to be used by everyone. Shadows is a story about death and destruction, bouncing back and forth between the past and the present.

The end is nigh.

2:15 pm - Empty Magazines, v.2.0

If anyone remembers that story I posted here and asked for feedback on? Well this is the end result, and what I handed in at school. I got an A for it. :>

Empty Magazines, By Vincent GilesCollapse )

I guess you could say that the idea came from: Final Fantasy: The spirits within, Hellsing, A lot of other anime, Dune.
Excuse spelling errors, there should not be many though.

Just a short teaser of a story that was born in my mind when the city lost power. I'll probably post this story (as I write it) in butabara_hime when I find time, which will most likely have to wait until I have moved and settled in in Asia.

Shadow-landCollapse )

ookee, not much of anything here...sumimasen (^_^); The story basically jumps between past and present. I'd give more details, but I really have to run or I'll be late for the concert (^_^)V

5:02 pm - A story for school.

Had the idea about a week ago. Should have written it at the time, I feel it didn't turn out as well. I would love feedback, as much as possible. I need to add stuff to it. But I do not want to explore the character's day. That would detract. Please, any suggestions any of you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know where this came from...or maybe I do, but I don't suggest you try to analyze it too much. It's just a short...something...about two injured people. Contains...blood.

Now I go and attend to my own wounds.

6:45 pm - Question:

I've got this five page short-story, which I think is a bit too long to make you scroll through on LJ. Is anybody interested in having me e-mail it to them? I don't care if you just want to read it, and i'd welcome any comments/edits as well. Anybody interested?

Features mild swearing and the main characters from a planned larger work. Think of it as a chapter somewhere near the beginning of a book, right?

Although it sounds like the first chapter to a larger work (or, you know, that's what I'm told it sounds like) this is actually a stand-alone piece. Hope you enjoy it.

This is a poem I just wrote. It's written on paper and scanned in, so you'll have to deal with my horrid writing if you bother to read it. Anyway, there is a reason I'm posting the poem this way and not typing it, there is also a reason why lines are written in different colours, but I'll let you figure that out for yourselves.

This is just a little poem I wrote. This isn't the style I usually write in, but just something I'm experimenting with.

Um..yeah ^^ Comments greatly appreciated. Also, if you could tell me why you think it's called 'The Window'? I'm curious and have been getting a lot of interesting interpretations of that.
